Briony’s passion for quality drinks started in her family’s winery Liebichwein in Barossa Valley. Her passion for beer developed while leading the sensory programs at West End Brewery in Adelaide. Her strong foundation in sensory evaluation from the Australian Wine Research Institute and industry experience led her to work on many tasty projects under her brand Flavour Logic.
Briony has vast experience judging national beer, cider and spirits awards including World Beer Cup, Australian International Beer Awards, Australian Independent Beer Awards, Royal Australian Spirits, Royal Adelaide and Royal Sydney Beer and Cider Awards. She has run the Pink Boots Pathway to Judging program assisting other women to become beer judges.
Briony is a passionate educator helping others sharpen their senses to better appreciate what’s in their glass.
