Online Courses

At Bacchus Academy, we offer a variety of online wine and beer education courses to make learning more accessible and enjoyable no matter where you are!

We offer two types of online courses - self-paced and fully tutored.

Our fully tutored online wine courses are run as normal classes but using Zoom. You will be studying with a live teacher with wine tasting included (the wines are bottled into 50ml bottles and sent to you in the mail by Express Post). The sessions are recorded allowing you to revisit any session when you would like at any time that you like. Supplementary material (exercises and practise exams) are available to all our online students.

Our self paced online courses are taught via the WSET online portal.

Online Classes & Exams

When completing a Wine Spirit Education Trust Course online it is important to note all of the course, including the exam, will be online. You will need a webcam, smartphone, good internet connection and suitable space. If this is not possible, you are welcome to do an in-person exam with any of our in-person courses. Fully Tutored

The fully tutored courses are live and online. You will have set class times to join via zoom, you will have a teacher and classmates. Exactly like an in-person class – but online

Self-Paced

The course is delivered in English through the WSET Online Classroom platform. There is a set start and end date, but otherwise you can work through the coursework on your own schedule. You will have a Bacchus Expert available via email if you have any questions or need guidance.
